Donations
We are enormously grateful to everyone who chooses to support Catholic Homes, either through a one-off donation, or by leaving a bequest in their Will.
Due to our not-for-profit status, any donations made over $2 can be claimed as a tax deduction.
Community financial contributions go a long way to support Catholic Homes to provide high-quality care for our residents, ensuring access to specialised equipment as well as meaningful, relevant and enjoyable activities and events which keep residents connected to the wider community. Financial support also allows Catholic Homes to raise awareness and understanding of the needs of Western Australia’s ageing population in the local community and with Local and State Government bodies.
Bequests
Bequests are a simple yet incredibly powerful way to provide support for the causes that matter the most to you.
When you remember Catholic Homes in your will, you are leaving a lasting contribution for future generations of residents. Catholic Homes values all contributions to our organisation, but when preparing your will, please ensure that you have provided for those closest to you first.
A clearly written and up-to-date will is the only way to ensure that your estate is distributed according to your wishes. A simple will is usually quite inexpensive to prepare. We recommend you seek the advice of a qualified solicitor when preparing or altering your will.
You may have a preference for the way your bequest to Catholic Homes will be used, such as making a gift in memory of a particular person. We are very happy to discuss your ideas so we can help you find practical ways to achieve your wishes.
All information received by the Catholic Homes will be treated in the strictest confidence and we will respect your wishes if you choose for your bequest to remain anonymous.
