A new visitor management system for Catholic Homes
Catholic Homes is pleased to announce that it will be introducing a new visitor management system for our aged care residences in the coming weeks.
The new system called Zipline is an electronic way to check-in at Catholic Homes that will ultimately provide a quicker, easier and more secure process for all visitors and staff.
Why are check-ins changing?
Visitor check-in and sign-out have been mandatory in aged care for a long time. Since the advent of COVID-19, residences need to comply with more government regulations which unfortunately have made check-ins complex and time-consuming with lots of paperwork.
Zipline removes that paperwork and will allow us to manage things more efficiently while ensuring all visitors are compliant with visitation requirements for aged care, including vaccination, temperature checking and identification verification.
Next steps
We are currently providing training to our staff and managers before Zipline is installed by mid-April.
We will be writing to all family members, suppliers and other visitors the week before the system is turned on, providing you with more details on how to get set up your account ahead of your first visit using Zipline.
Don’t worry if you are not used to electronic check-ins, we will have materials to assist you and our staff are always happy to help.
We trust that you will find Zipline to be a very handy way to check-in at Catholic Homes as we work to ensure our residences remain safe and happy places for residents, staff and the wider community.
If you have any questions regarding these matters, please contact the Facility Manager for assistance.
