Welcome, Catherine

Introducing our new Short Term Restorative Care Coordinator, Catherine Waltham.

Her role involves arranging allied health and other services such as home modifications so clients can improve their independence and continue living at home.

“I enjoy helping clients and it makes me feel good knowing that I can make a difference in people’s lives,” she said.

She brings several years of home care and property experience to Catholic Homes having previously worked as a service coordinator for another home care provider in Perth and nearly a decade as a property assessor for HomesWest.

When not at work Catherine embarks on home renovations of her own and is currently restoring a cottage in Mount Nasura.

She also loves riding and a few years back decided to get a horse of her own, buying former Dubai racehorse Moulten.

Maintaining a horse can be expensive but her friend’s prize-winning past means he is well cared for and, as Catherine says, he is now ‘living the high life’!
