Each year the Institute of Hospitality in Healthcare presents excellence awards to outstanding efforts in the aged care sector.

Trinity Chef Mollie Tiakia has been nominated for a Leadership award for her inspirational efforts running an organised careering team who deliver food safety compliance and very happy residents. She has created a positive team culture and encourages others towards common goals.

Ocean Star Hotel Services Worker Robyn Gibbons is up for a Brightest Star Award. She has excelled in engaging and inspiring others, empowering residents, fundraising and going above and beyond.

We congratulate Mollie and Robyn on their nominations and wish both ladies the very best when the awards are announced on Thursday 19 August.
