Gettin’ to the church on time

Time and distance proved no obstacle for home care clients Sheril, her husband Klaus and sister Janice, who definitely got to the church on time to enjoy a special occasion with family and friends.

Home Care Case Manager Faye Davies helped the trio make the big day where grand niece Lauren married her love Nic at a beautiful ceremony at St Mary’s Cathedral in Perth recently.

“They were unable to attend the wedding of their niece due to distance, neither Klaus or Sheril can drive and have no family that live out their way who could take them,” Faye explained.

“So Catholic Homes arranged transport to and from the church and reception and then home again!”

The day was made more special for everyone as it was the first family gathering since Sheril and Janice lost their brother a few short months ago.

“I am very close to both my great nieces and was I was really overjoyed to be with them,” Sheril said.

“Faye is very good and I get on very well with her, there’s nothing she won’t do to help.”

We wish Lauren and Nic all the very best for their future together.
