Care with Purpose ‘roles’ celebrated

People in our community of care support each other in numerous ways that make our residences wonderful places to live.

To show our appreciation we organised a special afternoon tea to thank everyone who has taken up job roles to support community life at their residence.

More than half of our residents here at Castledare enjoy a particular chosen role. You can read more about roles in our Care with Purpose model here.

At this event we presented our new ‘Job Role’ boards which are on display in each house.

We presented a letter of thanks and it was very special to see not only people reading their own letters but sharing them with others around their table

By acknowledging choice, which includes the option to have a specific role, we also recognise the freedom people have not pursue a role.

It was great to see people embrace those who do so much to help for others.
