Celebration of the sandgroper
Every month at Trinity, we choose a holiday or special occasion to celebrate, with style and fun, naturally!
In June, a ‘WA Day’ themed luncheon was selected, and because many people were born and grew up in Western Australia, we wanted a luncheon special for them and everyone to enjoy.
To celebrate all the amazing places in WA, we made tailored placemats with an image of the town we lived in.
And if we didn’t grow up in Western Australia, our placement had an attractive image of beautiful landmarks such as the Crawley Boat Shed and King’s Park.
We made table decorations including origami black swans and quokka masks — so that we could do our very own ‘quokka selfies’!
We enjoyed WA wines, and posed fun facts and questions about the State to get the conversation started.
