Aged Care Employee Day

Today is Aged Care Employee Day, a time of giving thanks and recognition to all of our staff’s ongoing commitment and passion for our residents and clients. Aged Care Employee Day is an initiative of aged care peak body Leading Age Services Australia in acknowledgment of the 360,000 aged care staff around Australia.

This year’s theme of ‘Thanks for Caring’ recognises individuals and teams involved in caring for the 1.3 million older Australians receiving home care or residential care services.

The nearly 500 care staff, allied health workers, nursing and clinical staff, maintenance and administration teams and volunteers at Catholic Homes continue to make a positive difference at work and in the community and for this we genuinely thank them all.
